The INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HEALTH ECONOMICS (IJHE) is preparing the next issue.

MISSION of International Journal of Health EconomicsHe:

Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts for possible publication in the IJHE.

The Journal aims at bringing into the light the domain of health of population in an economically approach, as a topic of interest all over the world, but more important for undeveloped and developing countries. By promoting Health Economics as one of the important areas existing in a national economy, we want to create premises that should emphasize economic approach of health system with all current deficiencies available worldwide. For this purpose, the Journal aims to be a distribution channel on state-of-the art research that contributes to theory and practice development in this domain of knowledge. A primary criterion for publication in JEB is reporting on research that is both academically rigorously executed and relevant for practice either in people’s economic education, or in business community.

 

RECOMMENDED TOPICS:

Topics to be discussed in this journal include (but are not limited to) the following:

Demand and supply of health care under technological advances; Impact of information and technology on health determinants; Economic evaluation of the performance of health care systems; Production of health and health services in the context of the digital economy; The effects of health on economic growth; Models of financing health services; Roles of information, technology and innovation in health policies; Health information technology; Health informatics; E-health at the intersection of medical informatics, public health and business; Economic aspects on health insurance markets; Measurement of health at the individual and population level; Behavioral models of demanders, suppliers and other health care agencies; Cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analyses; Welfare economics in relation with health indicators; Health care externalities and technological changes; Quality of life and health; Economics of ageing and its impact on health sector; Economics of mental health; Health reforms in (East)-European countries; Pharmacoeconomics.

 

SUBMITTING TO IJHE:

Prospective authors should note that only original and previously unpublished articles will be considered. Final decision regarding acceptance/revision/rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers. All submissions must be forwarded electronically to camelia.cojocaru@faa.ro
